Many of us have an image of the “starving artist” - who barely has enough money to eat or pay rent, but sacrifices all for his or her art form. Heidi Schmenk thinks that stereotype is total crap. She discusses how being a successful artist involves mastering the art of business in addition to mastering your craft.
